Biomedical Research Info Session for Undergraduate Students

We are really excited to be collaborating with our friends at the Science To Business Network Kingston Chapter on an informative event aimed at undergraduate students! We will be hosting a panel discussion with graduate students, postdocs, and professors from Chemical Engineering (CHEE) and Biomedical Sciences (DBMS) about biomedical research in graduate school – what to know, how to apply, skills you should have, differences between science and engineering research projects, career journeys, and more!

After the panel discussion we will have a poster session where attendees can look at the different types of research occurring at Queen’s in CHEE and DBMS departments and network with panelists and other attendees. Food, treats, coffee, and drinks will be served! This is a great opportunity for undergraduate students to get an idea of what graduate school is and have all of their questions about biomedical research answered!

Can’t wait to see you there!
Date: Monday October 22, 2018
